Why do we ask for your mobile number and post code? Often when people are busy and change their email it is impossible for them to remember to let everyone know their new email address. If your email is rejected by our mail server it means we can give you a ring and get your new email address and you'll continue to enjoy our occasional newsletters.
Post code, well, there’s not a lot of point in sending invites to people in China, America or France when the event is in Adelaide, South Australia! In other words, we can precisely target those subscribers who may be able to attend events and others are not annoyed with useless information.
