You can long for the fried rice
of Shanghai with a crunchy fried egg, a smattering of chilli, a lacing
of ginger garlic back taste; the brain swimming in a sea of chilli oil
with a side serve of blood, well, forget it this is Adelaide. You can
long for the fluffy pork buns at Singapore’s Buxton Market or the
baby skate in chilli sauce of Newton Circus and you won’t find
tripe swimming in a stunning chicken stock like the Athen’s meat
market; it is simply not going to happen!
Regardless, there is still plenty of good Asian food in the Adelaide
Central Markets precinct and we especially like the sushi in the Market Arcade
between Smokemart and the chemist. AO
